Multi Media Info Products Increase Profits

Posted January 29, 2017 By Callie

There’s no doubt that information products are a great way to make profits. Digital downloads are easy to format and can be created by anyone who has something to say. For the marketer, eBooks are a great tool to bring in profit.

But one of the best things you can do is add more than one form of media to your sale to increase profit margins. The reason that multi-media products increase profits is because even for people who are great readers, how-to examples set in a step-by-step visual guide make it easier to learn and retain knowledge.

It’s easier for most people to grasp learning something new when it’s presented visually. You may know what you mean in your eBook when you talk about formatting something or putting it up on a website, but for the beginner, those words will seem like a foreign language.

Using videos to sell your products also gives you the edge of being able to add a personal touch. You can also add audio files for the customer to be able to download as an MP3 to their player for on-the-go learning.

Audio courses are just another way to use multi media to raise the level of profits you earn. Audio files are more portable and versatile than ever before and with the rise of the iPod and other MP3 players, almost everyone has a way to play audio files.

Fortunately, it doesn’t take a lot of fancy computer software to create quality audio files. All you need is a microphone that plugs into your computer or laptop and recording software, some of which is already pre-installed on your computer.

Audacity is one free audio editor that works across multiple platforms, enabling you to record your lessons. Audio files are particularly good if you get easily flustered in front of the camera. You can reference a quick outline you’ve written in an audio recording without the audience ever knowing.

When you’re ready to make your recording, find a quiet place. You don’t want to have to scrap a perfectly good recording because your microphone picked up the sounds around you.

Once you’re finished with the recording, listen to the playback carefully in one sitting and make a note of anything that needs to be edited or changed. Audacity and other audio recording programs can help you remove long pauses or unnecessary words for example ‘like’ or ‘umm’ or any pet phrases that you might overuse.

If you’re considering affiliate marketing as a profession, the most important question you may be asking is how much money can you make as affiliate marketer? In truth, affiliate marketing offers unlimited earnings potential.

There are two different ways you can go when it comes to earning money. You can promote digital products, tangible products, or both. Digital products include eBooks, video courses and membership sites that can be used online or downloaded directly.

In just about every niche, you’ll find digital products that can be promoted and many have affiliate programs that offer handsome commissions. But you don’t have to limit yourself to digital products.

You can also promote tangible products through retailers. For example, many people choose to promote items from Amazon to receive a commission. There are also many other retailers that will share a commission with you if you promote their products.

Both digital and tangible products have unlimited income potential. However, you won’t have a huge volume of sales on your first day in affiliate marketing. It will take time to grow a volume of sales that give you a large income.

As a marketer, you’ll have to decide what types of products you want to promote. You can promote high ticket items with large commissions, or promote items that have lower commissions, but will sell at a higher volume.

When making that decision, you need to think about your readers and customers. If you feel that the people on your list will be interested and able to purchase more expensive items, you may want to promote them.

But if you feel that promoting a very expensive product will alienate many of your customers, you may not want to promote high ticket items. This all comes back to the idea of building relationships online so that you know you customer and you can meet their needs.

With that in mind, you can choose the best products to promote and you can increase your earnings potential. As long as you promote quality digital or tangible products that will impact your consumers positively, your income potential is unlimited.

But it won’t happen overnight and it takes dedication, thoughtful research, and relationship building to really make the kind of money you want. The sky is truly the limit. As an affiliate marketer, you have the potential to make a great income when you choose the right niche, stay committed, and understand your audience.

You Can’t Sell Based on What People Say They Want

Posted January 29, 2017 By Callie

How many times have you heard people talk about sales copy and swear they can’t stand hyped up sales pages? Problem is, it’s those very pages that convert the highest – so someone’s either lying or unaware that deep down, hype is what makes them eager to buy.

The word hype is often thought to be derogatory and false, but there’s a difference between hype and lies. Hype can sell an idea and fire people up to buy – whereas lies only hurt you in the long run and turn people off forever.

So, the middle road is to offer a great deal, make it worth their while and make them pleased with the end results. People may say they don’t purchase from hyped up sales copy, but statistics show that’s not true.

Most people are drawn to online sales copy because it represents a dream or a vision they have and they end up willing to take a chance on the product – if it’s presented properly.

Hype can be something or some way that you do things. It’s either specifically a type of promotion or a way of promoting things with an exaggerated method. This is typical of what online entrepreneurs attempt to do when promoting products.

The thing to be careful about is that we’re not promoting blatant lies. It’s okay to grab an audience’s attention with bold and colorful prose as long as it doesn’t lead them to pay hard earned money for a product that’s not worth the time and effort that it took to write the hype.

People may say they don’t want to read through hype in a sales letter, but statistics show that most people buy based on information they received through the promotion – and sales letters in particular.

There are reams of information and research which show that consumers want to be coaxed into making good decisions by reading, listening to or viewing data that can make a difference in their future success, personal goals or in some way, transform them into the person they want to be.

Hype shouldn’t be about lies or misinformation, but should reflect the true value within the product you’re selling. Presenting it in a sales letter designed to attract and convince the audience to purchase is a tried and proven way to boost your sales and gain an audience you can depend on to purchase more from your site.

If in doubt, take a look at how the honest and successful online gurus promote their products. Chances are, you’ll find some sales copy which could be considered hype by some. Look at the value offered and decide for yourself.

Marketing with CPA Offers

Posted January 26, 2017 By Callie

CPA or cost per action is another way that marketers can make money. It’s a type of affiliate marketing that can make a steady profit if you select the right offer. In this type of program, you can earn a variety of different ways.

You can make money either through pay per lead, pay per click, cost per lead, cost per sale, cost per click or pay per sale. Sometimes you’ll see those terms used interchangeably, but they don’t all mean the same thing.

In a PPL or pay per lead affiliate or through PPS (pay per sale) affiliate program, you either earn on a set value or on a portion of the sale in the form of a percentage. If you earn based on PPL, then when a potential customer signs up for the mailing list or gives their email, then you make money – even if that person doesn’t buy from the merchant.

Making money through pay per sale is usually the method chosen by new marketers because they like the larger payments offered with this technique. However, PPS earners will only see a pay out if there’s an actual sale.

If there are plenty of clicks but no conversions, that means no money in your pocket. You also want to choose CPA offers that mesh with your target audience. You wouldn’t select offers that aren’t appropriate for those who visit your site.

If you choose a PPC to promote, then you’ll get paid just because the site visitor followed the link you provided. Based on the program you’ve signed up with, this amount of revenue can range anywhere from a few cents to hundreds of dollars, but it’s based on what’s being promoted and how much of the percentage you’re set up to get.

Why should marketers get involved with CPA offers? It can be a fairly easy way to make extra money and it’s money that can be made with little effort on your part. An example of a CPA offer would be if you had a website where you sold health and beauty information or products.

You find a program where there are vitamins being sold that you feel would benefit your site visitors. You have a link set up on your site that leads visitors to this vitamin product and when they click on it, you make money. You’ve helped your customers and earned a profit, too.

When you’re looking for which CPA offer you’d like to promote, be aware that products crop up every single hour on the Internet. You want to avoid offers that seem too good to be true or don’t have a solid history. Don’t get associated with a merchant that would reflect poorly on your website.

Affiliate marketers work hard to make a commission and of course, they want payments as soon as humanly possible. But not all networks or product owners pay out at the same rate.

Third party sites like Squidoo pay out two months after the commissions are earned. They’re similar to how Amazon pays their affiliates. So for instance, if you have a really good month in December for Christmas sales, you won’t see those funds until February.

This is to protect the company from refunds that may occur during that 60-day timespan when most returns are processed. This will really matter more to you when you’re just getting started and perhaps more desperate for money. But over time, you’ll get used to it being on a set schedule.

JVZoo and Warrior Plus are primarily used for promoting digital info products about Internet marketing. But not all of them are in this niche. The best thing about these sites is that affiliates are paid instantly.

If it’s a 50% payout, then the product owner gets paid for one sale, and you get paid for the next. Or, you might each get half of the payment for each sale. These types of sites have varying payment details, so you need to check to make sure you know the process.

One thing about being an affiliate on these sites is that you may have to get whitelisted in order to promote as an affiliate for a product seller. Getting whitelisted means the product owner has to manually approve you to promote his products.

They do this to prevent fraud. The best way to get whitelisted is to introduce yourself to the product owner and show them your site and explain how you plan to promote their product.

ClickBank affiliates who promote products on that system get paid every two weeks like clockwork. They can send a check or do a direct deposit into your bank. If you’ve had refunds, then they can withhold some funds for the next paycheck.

Individual product sellers who are not on ClickBank, JVZoo or WarriorPlus can also buy software that allows them to run their own affiliate program. You have to use extreme caution here.

Some of the marketers are completely above the board and have a firm schedule for payments. Others have ruined their reputation by taking all of the money and then not paying their affiliates – coming up with excuses instead.

Study the Technical Skills You Need to Succeed

Posted January 26, 2017 By Callie

Technical skills that are needed in online marketing, are often the one element that causes many people to turn and run away. It feels overwhelming and insurmountable. But you shouldn’t feel like you have to be able to operate everything all at once – don’t make this harder than it has to be.

Even if you have the money to outsource most of your marketing needs, it’s imperative that you know a bit about what’s happening when you outsource so that you’ll know if you’re getting your money’s worth and if what you requested is actually what you’re getting.

Other things you might think you need to outsource are really very simple and only need a few minutes to learn how. There are so many ways to get the help you need to perform some of the technical skills that will make you successful.

The learning process is never over if you’re an Internet entrepreneur. There are some specific basics you need to know so you’ll understand how to perform some of the online marketing techniques that are vital to your success.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) isn’t difficult, but if you’re new to the fray you may be intimidated by some of the phrases such as this. Much has been written (and videos produced) about this subject. Just do a bit of research to learn everything you need to know about SEO – and stay on top of it, because it’s always changing.

Pay Per Click Marketing is a technique that’s an important one to know about because it actually involves your money and sales. As with SEO, much is out there, both on the Internet and beyond which can help you learn this important facet of your business.

Organization of your data is crucial. There are many programs and apps available (some free) that can help you organize and retrieve information in a click or two. There are also ways to retrieve old data that may be in archives. Learn all you can about this important skill.

Website and page design can be outsourced. In the beginning you don’t have to spend lots of money on a professional web site designer. There’s a plethora of templates and basic help that will help you design a pretty good-looking site.

You simply need to understand a few basics such as color and how to design a layout using a grid template. But once you have money, make sure you hire someone to do the job for you.

Social media ins and outs are something you need to master. Believe it or not, social media sites have technical aspects you need to understand if you’re to make a success of your online business.

Most are little nuances that simply add to the social media experience. Lots of videos and tutorials exist about how to take the most advantage of social media sites such as FaceBook, Twitter and Reddit.

You don’t have to be a technical wizard to understand and use the workings of the Internet, but you do need to know how to install a blog, run an ad and write and send autoresponders – just to name a few. Take advantage of all of the information online and you’ll be good to go.

Making Money Before You Even Have a Product

Posted January 23, 2017 By Callie

Waiting until you have a product of your own to make money online means you’re missing out on a lot of potential profit that you could be making while you get your own products ready.

You don’t want to waste the opportunity. First, create a plan or a map of how much money you’d like to earn online and then take the steps to fulfill that plan. If you don’t have a plan or a marketing strategy to use to make money, then you won’t be as successful.

You don’t always have to go with what you know when you want to make money as an online entrepreneur. Pick a market or a niche than interests you. If it interests you, it’ll show through your efforts, and you can promote as an affiliate.

If you can write, you can earn money writing for other online businesses or marketers while you’re building your own products. You can write blogs, reports, articles and even eBooks. And other service jobs are out there too – like building backlinks for marketers, creating blogs and more.

If you can’t write or are not comfortable with it, then teach. Set up a teaching website sharing information about whatever you’re knowledgeable in and charge for lessons or online classes – ad do them via video.

Create a how-to workshop. There are many people who want to learn from the comfort of their own homes. Just make a list of the topics you know and pick a few of those to expand. Create a lesson plan, put up a site (you can even use free ones) and announce your site through free press releases, forums or blogs.

You can also let your site be used by marketers who are already making money. Sell them some advertising space on your site and promote their products. You want to make sure that what they’re offering is legitimate – because if it’s not and people get upset, you’ll get tainted with the same brush simply by association.

You can also create a site and promote the products that Amazon or other retailers sell via a link on your site. You’ll earn commission based on the products that people buy. You might start out with small amounts of money, but it will grow and it’s a fairly easy way to make money online.

This is known as affiliate marketing of tangible items. You can also check out marketplaces such as Clickbank and PayDotCom for digital download products to promote.

How Affiliates Can Create and Use Infographics

Posted January 23, 2017 By Callie

One of the latest trends in affiliate marketing is the use of infographics. Infographics are images combined with text that are developed to share a concept. They’re a quick way for a reader to understand a concept graphically.

Infographics are also popular in social media and can be shared via Facebook, Pinterest, and even linked to on Twitter. If you’re not familiar with this concept, a quick search online will show you thousands of infographics and you can see how they’re used.

Once you understand the power of an infographic to reach your audience, you’ll want to create your own. This might seem a little intimidating, but there are many ways you can do this easily using services online.

First, there are free tools that allow you to create infographics. Three of the most commonly used tools are Infogr.am, Piktochart, and Easel.ly. These sites have free tools that you can use including templates, text boxes, and images.

For these three sites, there are free options. But if you want to have more choices for your themes and templates, you can also pay for the services. Adding a paid membership to any one of these three popular sites will allow you to have access to more options.

Infographics can be used to explain a concept or promote a product. They work very well if you have a “how to” concept that you want to share. They’re also helpful with sharing statistics if you want to show the success rate of a product.

When you create an infographic, you can take information that might be boring in text and make it more exciting. You’ll draw the reader’s attention to the graphic and help them understand what you’re promoting in a different way.

As you create your infographic, you want to prepare it for being shared with others. So you’ll want to make sure you brand your domain on the side and the top or the bottom. This way, when you’re illustration is shared virally, your brand will also be shared at the same time.

Infographics can add variety to your page. They stand out among other blogs that simply rely on text to get their message across. They meet the needs of busy people who want a quick visual explanation to understand a complex issue.

By harnessing free and paid tools, you can create your own infographics and add a more powerful message to your blog. This will reach more people and could ultimately increase your earnings potential.

Stop Quitting on Small Milestones

Posted January 23, 2017 By Callie

There’s nothing worse than someone who begs to be taught how Internet marketing works, has others show them the ropes, and then quits on the implementation of those ideas.

Many new entrepreneurs come into the business looking to make huge amounts of money at first and forget about or quit planning the small goals that are going to take them to the top.

They want immediate gratification, but don’t want to waste time on the small stuff that sets them up for a better and more profitable success. When you’re concentrating on future endeavors, it’s easy to overlook the small ones that can set you up as a person who celebrates the small achievements.

Every goal realized is a good one to celebrate and pat yourself on the back for. Enjoy each and every moment of success that’s working to get you to the top. Celebrating small goals and milestones is a way to keep yourself motivated.

You don’t have to go overboard, but designating milestones that you believe are significant enough to celebrate is a good way to keep you working toward the next – and onward to ultimate success as a business owner.

Don’t make the milestones too far apart – or too close together so they seem insignificant. If you wait too long to reach a goal, you may lose interest or momentum. Try to plan on reaching small goals at intervals no longer than two weeks apart.

Make your milestones known to others. Let others celebrate your achievements with you and they’ll relate to you in ways that will make them get to know you and want to see what you’re all about and to purchase what you have to offer.

One of the major milestones to plan for is your first full year in business. Not many reach that important goal – and it deserves celebrating in a big way. New marketers will be in awe that you saw it through and encouraged by your determination.

The gurus will realize what you’ve given to get here to this monumental achievement and likely give you the kudos you deserve, especially if you’re making traction with your accomplishments.

Visualize the small milestones as bricks and one placed on top of the other will eventually lead you to the “building” encompassing all your hard work and meeting goals – even the small ones.

Eventually, you’ll be able to better plan the small and the large milestones and also have more knowledge of how to balance them. You’ll feel a greater sense of accomplishment when you reach the finish line if you recognize them along the way.

Making Bank With Both Broad and Long Tail Keywords

Posted January 20, 2017 By Callie

When you choose a niche and set up a website, you want to use every means available to you to generate profit. Often overlooked, keywords are a major player in the arena of making money.

The concept of using keywords is a simple one. Those are words that identify your webite and bring it to the attention of search engines. Without the right keywords, your batting average for customers and sales will be pretty dismal.

Many online entrepreneurs and would be entrepreneurs grasp that keywords are vitally important for traffic, but what they often don’t get is that broad keywords and long tail keywords can be used to bring in the money.

How are these different from just using any keywords? Broad keywords are words that don’t narrow down the topic – think short, one word versus phrases – for example, car versus buying a Honda Odyssey, or tree versus how to plant an Oak tree.

When you look up long tail keywords, you might see that there aren’t as many results for those words as there are for broad keywords. But there are more of those types of phrases, so the actual traffic volume can exceed what you’d get with a broad search ranking.

You want to bring in people who know what they want. Someone who types in the word cars may be looking for the animated cartoon called cars, the history of cars, used cars, new cars, and more.

People type in long tail phrases are telling you what it is they want. For instance, here’s a good one – “How to buy cars without getting ripped off.” You could sell someone a guide on buying a new car because you’d know exactly what their needs are compared to someone just typing in ‘cars.’

If you were in the business of selling self-help products for depression, you could use depression as a broad keyword, but to get more specific you’d use long tail keywords such as ‘post partum depression symptoms’ or ‘signs of depression in men.’

Not only will you pull in people searching for information on depression in general by using broad keywords, but you’ll also get people searching for depression as it pertains to their situation.

When you do a search to find broad keywords, you’ll see that there are a lot of searches per month for that word or words. But the more focused your keywords, the better your site performs when the search engine spiders come crawling. You want the people who find your site to be the ones that are looking for what you have to offer.
